Job: Full Stack Developer (Web2 / Web3)

Netarus’ mission is to become the leading provide of safety and productivity solutions for real-world applications and businesses. We see a future where AI, computer vision, web2 and web3 technologies converge to make the world a better place. We’re looking to hire full-time, part-time or consultant software engineers to accelerate our progress towards that vision.

As a team of contributors, we’re comfortable working around the stack but tend to be experts in a particular area. We’re looking for a like-minded generalist who can specialize in building out our backend services and infrastructure.

What you’ll do

• Design and build performant APIs that power Netarus’ applications, analytics, and other projects within a Web 2 enviroment.
• Create elegant abstractions that simplify the usability of the data our computer vision solutions generate.
• Write and deploy software on Web 2 stacks, ensuring they’re well-tested and secure.
• Maintain tooling and best practices for testing, package management, and CI/CD.
• Contribute to an proprietary and open-source culture and processes.

What you’ll bring

• Proven track record: You’ve worked on performant services at scale, ideally in computer vision or adjacent industries.
• Balanced mindset: You’re comfortable working independently in an async environment, but also enjoy coming together to collaborate as a team. You’re passionate about certain technologies and patterns, but also recognize their trade-offs in different scenarios. You don’t see everything in absolutes, and identify the underlying dimensions to make decisions.
• Excellent communicator: You articulate your thoughts and ideas clearly—and pass the mic to empower others to be heard.
• Interest in Data and Computer Vision: Whether you’re completely new to computer vision or an accomplished developer, you’re excited to create a safer and more productive world empowering businesses to make better decisions.
• Experience or interest in open source: You’re ready to leverage various tools to accomplish the needs of our customers.
