We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with ample experience in computer vision to lead a dynamic team in developing cutting-edge solutions for the supply chain. You will be a technical champion, leading the design, development, and deployment of robust image-based classification models with real-world impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical teams through execution of data generation, feature engineering and machine learning utilizing computer vision.
- Interface with both external customers and partners to bring groups together to ensure that our products meet our customers’ needs.
- Collaborate with team members across many fields (mechanical, controls, software, data science, materials, etc.) to define problems, propose solutions, design architecture, and lead the development of the final product.
Required Attributes & Skills
- 4+ years of industry experience in Computer Vision / Machine Learning or related fields.
- Experience with data preprocessing, augmentation, and annotation for computer vision tasks.
- Experience in object detection, image segmentation, and image classification.
- Experience dealing with shallow data sets and leveraging simulated data to augment a data set.
- Experience incorporating physics-based features alongside data-driven features.
- Experience running experiments that generate additional, usable data in a training/testing/validation sequence.
- Experience deploying computer vision systems in production environments.
- Experience leading technical teams in project execution.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for building and deploying CVML models.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
