Netarus Presents Webinar on Crane Safety – February 22, 2017

Netarus in conjunction with ITI will be conducting an important webinar – “Situational Awareness: Mobile Cranes, Tower Cranes, Overhead Cranes, and You” – regarding the safety of crane equipment on Wednesday, February 22nd, at 10 AM Pacific Time/1 PM Eastern Time.

Conducted by Chris Machut, founder and Chief Technology Officer of Netarus, this webinar will share the positive, negative, and unintended consequences of using visual aid technologies for mobile, tower, and overhead cranes.

“Lacking or inadequate situation awareness has been identified as one of the primary factors in accidents attributed to human error,” said Machut. “Situational awareness is especially important in work domains where the information flow can be quite high and poor decisions may lead to serious consequences. I look forward to leading this webinar to better inform our customers and colleagues regarding crane safety.”

Netarus, founded in 2002, engineers and manufactures situational awareness platforms for some of the most demanding environments and locations.

Over the past 30 years, ITI (ITI) has become recognized by customers and competitors alike as having an innovative and pioneering attitude toward training, and for having raised the current levels of instruction for cranes, rigging, and load handling activities. ITI’s personal belief is that people have a greatly increased chance of retention by “seeing, speaking and doing” all at the same time.

Machut, a graduate of Virginia Tech, is an experienced computer engineer and business developer.
