Tech Venture Takes Big Industry Step with New Partnership

SiteTrax by Netarus Now Part of International Transportation Trade Group

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (August 12, 2021) Netarus—the certified small business that helps the world move through heavy lifting, logistics, marine, and material handling innovations—is pleased to share its subsidiary Sitetrax.io is now a member of the Intermodal Association of North America. IANA is the continent-wide trade organization that connects companies involved in moving freight across multiple modes of transportation, and the asset tracking capabilities Sitetrax.io provides makes the membership a natural fit.

“Small businesses can still make a big impact, and our work keeping parts of the global supply chain moving only grows more important as we all become more interconnected,” said Chris Machut, founder and CEO of Netarus. “Becoming part of IANA will let us engage with other industry experts and continue to develop ways to make a difference in the logistics space.

As a member of the Intermodal Association of North America, Sitetrax.io’s technological efficiency efforts become a part of a much greater group of global supply chain stakeholders. IANA includes a diverse range representing all parts of the shipment industry: railroads, ocean carriers, ports, truckers and over the road highway carriers, marketing and logistics companies, and suppliers. IANA membership allows not only greater access to this $40 billion market, but also helps spark more innovation through a freer exchange of ideas. Joining IANA isn’t something that simply strengthens the company and lets a small startup join with bigger industry players. It helps forge the future and foster the next steps in world trade.
