HoistCam™: A Netarus, LLC Brand
HoistCam is the Netarus flagship line of wireless and wired crane camera systems. Current HoistCam models, specifications and support are on hoistcam.com.
Netarus builds rugged wireless camera and video systems that put the eyes of an operator, foreman or supervisor anywhere on a construction site, from the hook of a crane to the bottom of an excavation.
On a construction site, many lifts and digs happen out of the operator's line of sight. Netarus systems give the crew a live view of the load, the hole or the work zone, so the operator isn't relying only on a spotter and a radio.
HoistCam, a Netarus brand, is used on mobile cranes such as truck cranes, telescopic boom cranes and crawler cranes, and on tower cranes, to place the operator's eyes anywhere on the job site. On telescopic boom cranes, a HoistCam repeater keeps the video link through the whole lift without an antenna on the boom; see the telescopic boom crane guide on hoistcam.com. A boom tip camera installs in under five minutes with no welding, with the monitor in the operator's cab.
A camera on the side wall of the hole where an excavator is digging lets the operator see into the hole and around the machine. It can be repositioned in seconds, and it travels in a suitcase-size case between excavations or with the excavator.
Mounted on a tripod, the same camera works as a site camera for a foreman or supervisor. The video can be viewed from a web-enabled smartphone or PC over cellular or on-site wireless access points.
The Netarus Full Service Material Handling Analysis Program works with construction customers to improve the safety and productivity of material handling, and Netarus engineers custom camera platforms for applications that need them.

Netarus builds rugged, easy to use communication platforms, customized with night vision cameras, batteries, DVRs, displays, wireless links and sensors.
They give the people running a lift or a dig a live view of what they can't see directly. A wireless camera at the hook, the boom tip or the excavation sends video to a monitor in the cab, or to a phone or PC, which helps reduce blind lifts and guesswork.

Yes. The video can be viewed from a web-enabled smartphone or PC over cellular or on-site wireless access points. For HoistCam fleets, HoistCam Director software adds real-time remote monitoring.

Netarus helps steel mills, plants and factories see blind lifts on overhead cranes, grapples and coil handling equipment, with rugged camera systems and a full-service material handling analysis program.

Netarus camera and video systems help intermodal yards, 3PLs, drayage yards, warehouses and vehicle fleets see the loads and moves their operators can't see directly, from a container on a reach stacker's spreader to video on board land-based vehicles.

Netarus maritime systems help tugboat, towboat, barge, vessel and port crane crews see what is hidden from the wheelhouse or the cab, with TugCam and HoistCam wireless cameras, night vision cameras, and custom camera and DVR platforms for vessels.
